“What do you get when The Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood, Queens of The Stone Age and Copeland meet at a Crossroads in the middle of nowhere? ‘Be Sassy’ and ‘Button Down Shirt’ by Nobody from Jersey.”
- Jon Delange, Tinderbox Music
Nobody from Jersey is multi instrumentalists Ryan Lancelot and Chris Mitchell, former classmates who reacquainted after recognizing their mutual passion for making music.
The pair officially formed in 2017 to strengthen their collaborative efforts as songwriters and recording artists before self-producing and independently releasing their full length, self-titled album in 2019 with assistance from Michael Bauer at Bauer House Records, Adam Vaccarelli at Retromedia Sound Studios and graphic artist, Marianne Quirk at 13 Crescent.
This album produced their first accolade - the pair were selected as finalists for the 2018 John Lennon Songwriting Contest for the track "00" (then titled "Spectre").
Since then, Nobody have released "Crown & Anchor " and "Is it Christmas Yet?" in support of their upcoming sophomore album "It Has Been 0 Days" and holiday album, both in 2020. A prequel album "Lightning Bar I" is also slated for release in 2020 alongside additional material.
In 2020, to meet the demand for new material, Nobody From Jersey extends an open invitation to local and unknown artists, photographers, and filmmakers who find themselves inspired to collaborate and create.
